Our track record

From 2008 onwards, Artilect was concerned purely with research and we gradually started to develop the comprehensive platform envisioned when the company was founded.

Openaid.se

In 2010, we started taking our services to the market, and the Swedish Foreign Ministry (Utrikesdepartementet) contracted us to organize data about Swedish foreign aid activities. After doing data inventory, defining a comprehensive domain model and collecting information from a multitude of sources, we created the first unified database Swedish of aid data, spanning all Swedish foreign aid from the sixties onward.

The end result was a comprehensive API which is now open for the public, including aid organizations, journalists and researchers. Also, a website was created where the public can browse and interact with the data: openaid.se

Företagsklimatet.se

Recently, Artilect has helped the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) to survey the local business climate in the municipalities. We collected and consolidated data from a variety of sources, and both an open API and a comprehensive website will be launched in late 2011. Get a sneak peak: fklimat.se
